Stanley Ray Eads, 52, of Mount Carmel, Ill. passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at his residence.

He was born on Friday, January 20, 1961 in Indiana, the son of Cornelius Eads and Edna Violet (Ivy) Thorne.  

Stanley Eads was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church of Mount Carmel and worked in construction.

He is survived by his son Ben Eads of Francisco; daughters, Maria (Kevin Bland) McKnight of Patoka, & Ivy Eads of Oakland City; significant other, Allyson Marie Dodge; sisters, Rena Burdick of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla., Nelia (Tim) Miskel, Nancy (Jim) Trottier of Mount Carmel; brothers, Robert Eads of Owensville, Jerry (JD) Eads of Princeton, Thomas Eads of Princeton; & eight grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, Terry Eads and Herbert (Dink) Thorne; two sisters, Georgia Helen Brown and Donna K. Tinney.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Mount Carmel. Burial will follow at a later date.
