Anna Catherine McEllhiney, 77, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Monday, March 4, 2013.

 

Anna was born in Snake Run, Indiana on September 18, 1935 to the late Sylvester and Mary (Scott) Weber.

 

Anna was a  long time member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #1114. Anna volunteered at Little Sisters of the Poor and St. Vincent DePaul. She enjoyed quilting, flower gardening, and line dancing. Anna loved traveling, especially to Florida during the winter months. 

 

Anna is survived by her son, Bruce McEllhiney of Evansville, IN; daughters, Denise (Philip) Johnson of Newburgh, IN, Brenda (Steven) Hauger of Princeton, IN, and Carolyn (Bradley) Weisheit of Newburgh, IN; brothers, Kenneth (Baerbel) Weber of Windsor Locks, CT, Robert (Joyce) Weber of Fort Branch, IN, David (Polly) Weber of Fort Branch, IN, Wayne (Judith) Weber of Fort Branch, IN, James (Monica) Weber of Fort Branch, IN, Daniel (Brenda) Weber of Terre Haute, IN, Gerald (Elizabeth) Weber of Fort Branch, IN, Edwin (Dorothy) Weber of Fort Branch, IN, Steven (Jean) Weber of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Doris Koewler of Evansville, IN, Mary Michel of Fort Branch, IN, Rosalin Allen of Bloomington, IN, Genevieve (James) Lubbers of Evansville, IN, Janet (Wallace) Bickett, and Judith (Leo) Neufelder of Fort Branch, IN; Grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Lewis, Brynn (Blake) Kinder, Kaley (fiance' Chris Stafford) Hauger, Braden (Jaime) Weisheit, Corinne Weisheit, Celine Weisheit; great-grandchildren, Rachel Pollock, Alexis Lewis, Kyle Lewis, Jarrett Kinder, Charlize Kinder.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband of 22 years, Charles McEllhiney; her parents; and brother, Ralph Weber.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at
11:00 am, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Zack Etienne officiating. Burial will follow at St Joseph Cemetery in Princeton
