Fred E. Beauchamp, 77, formerly of Oakland City passed away on Wednesday April 10, 2013 at Covington Manor Rehab Facility in Covington, Tenn. where he had resided for the past four years.

 

Fred was born on February 13, 1936 in Oakland City.

 

He graduated from Oakland City High School where he was a star football player. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting and was an active member of the Boys Scout Troop 240 in Oakland City. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Brighton, Tenn. He was a member of the Kiwanis and a lifetime endowment member of the N.R.A. Fred had also served our country as member of the National Guard.

 

He is survived by his mother, Dorotha Beauchamp; his wife, LeEtta (Corn) Beauchamp; his children, Gwen Beauchamp, Tony (Connie) Beauchamp, Susan Russell and her children Esther, Logan (Melissa), and Sawyer, Melisa Troy and her children Nathan, Bailey, Emily, T.J. and Jesilyn; and great grandchildren, Dominick, Jazymn and Jayden.

 

He was preceded in death by his father Fred L. Beauchamp. 

 

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City.  Burial will be at the Blackfoot Cemetery in Coe, Ind. 

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Sunday at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
