Helen M Gordon, 94, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility in Princeton.

 

She was born Aug. 2, 1918 in Gibson County to Rolla and Emma (Schiller) Crow.

 

She worked at Meissner Radio Factory in Mount Carmel for 19 years and was a loving mother and homemaker.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Princeton for 53 years.   

 

She is survived by her daughters, Sandy (Ron) Burns of Princeton and Janice (David) McFetridge of Francisco; three grandchildren, Jennifer Kane, Nancy Langworthy and Adam McFetridge; and two great grandchildren, Simon Kane and Ryan Joseph Langworthy.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen Gordon in 1983; her brother, William Crow; two half-brothers, Gilbert and Noble Crow; and two half-sisters, Bertha Black and Genieve Meller.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor George Prinzing officiating. Burial will be in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Illinois.

 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
