Jerry J. Redman, 78, of Patoka passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at The Waters of Princeton.

She was born April 30, 1935 in Oakland City to Ellis and Margaret (Beck) Johnson.  

She lived most of her life in Patoka. She retired in 1999 after 15 years as a Medical Tech at Gibson General Hospital. She was a very active member of the Patoka Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #281 and the Patoka Homemakers Club. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, traveling and following her children and grandchildren’s activities. She was a former 4-H leader and Cub-Scout Den Mother.

She is survived by her husband, Wm. Sam Redman of Patoka; children, Debra Lynne (William) Bell of Lake St. Louis, Mo., William Sam (Sibel) Redman Jr of Owensboro, Ky. and Anthony Ellis Redman of Glendale, Calif.; three grandchildren, Preston and Brad Hale and Marie McRoberts; three great grandchildren, Ryan and Evelyn Hale and McKenzie McRoberts; brothers, Bruce Johnson of Palm Desert, Calif. and Richard Johnson of Princeton; sisters, Judy Miser of Knoxville and Martha Clouse of White Salmon, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Kate Wagler.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. William Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home, with an Order of Eastern Star Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. and from noon until service time on Sunday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
