Rena Deffendall, 64, of Petersburg passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Petersburg.

 

She was born Oct. 26, 1948 in Hazleton to Orvel and Evelyn (Stiles) Robb.

 

She lived in Petersburg for the last 23 years. She had attended the Church Alive outside of Petersburg. Rena was a cook at Amber Manor Nursing Home and the Dream Motel and also worked at Forest Del Nursing Home. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. 

 

She is survived by her husband, Eddie Deffendall; daughter, Dara “Sam” Fine of Hazleton; three sons, James W. Wheeler of Petersburg, Timothy C. Ingle of Otwell and Jeremy J. Ingle of Petersburg; step-son, Derek Deffendall of Monroe City; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Sue Frederick of Hazleton; and three brothers, John, Don and Jay Robb all of Hazleton .

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Allen Ingle and eight brothers and sisters, Lee Stiles, Tom Robb, Tim Robb, Dan Robb, Orvil Robb, James Robb, Margaret Hopkins and Betty Sanders.

 

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at 2  p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Hazleton Community Cemetery, with Rev. Eddie Bennett officiating. Burial will follow.Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
