Ronald L. Frederick Sr., 76, of Princeton passed away Monday June 3, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

 

Ronald was born on February 28, 1937 in Hazleton to Harold and Daisy (Woods) Frederick.

 

He was a U. S. Army Air Force Veteran who served in Korea and Vietnam. He worked at Wabash Mine in Keensburg and also farmed. He loved to garden and travel.

 

He is survived by his wife, Judy Frederick of Princeton; five children, Patty (Morris) Barmes of Vincennes, Karen (Bruce) Thompson of Fort Branch, Ronald L. Frederick Jr of Hazelton, John Frederick of Henderson, Ky. and Susan Hill of Princeton; two step-children, Misty Dedrick of McKinney, Texas and Nathan Dedrick of Oakland City; 8 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Katherine Stewart of Lawrenceville, Ill., Mabel Adkins, Glenda Hope and Diana Flusche all of Hazelton; five brothers, Gene and Kevin Frederick both of Hazleton, Muggs and Monte Frederick both of Princeton and Lynn Frederick of Kokomo, Ill.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister. 

 

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with Rev. Terry Beadles officiating. Burial will be at the Knights Chapel Cemetery in Oatsville.

 

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Military graveside services will be conducted by retired military veterans.
