Glenn R. Nichol, 63, of Fort Branch passed away at his home on June 9, 2013.

 

Glenn was born on Jan. 8, 1950 to the late Glenn R. Nichol and his mother whom survives him, Janet (Summers) Allen.

 

He was a Truck Driver for 30 yrs, a member of VFW Post #2714. Glenn was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he was a Door Gunner. 

 

Glenn is survived by his wife, Juanita (Higginson) Nichol of Fort Branch, son, Brian (Tammy) Nichol of West Virginia, daughters Sheila (Michael) Gill of Fort Branch, Terri (Craig) Riesenmey of Indianapolis, Stepchildren, Deanna (Justin) Conner of Tennessee and Richard Krietemeyer of Evansville, his mother, Janet Allen of Corvallis, Ore., step mother Jeannie Allen-Fortnier of San Diego Calif, sisters, Diana (Ellie) Allen of Corvallis Ore. and Judi Allen of San Diego, Calif. 11 grandchildren, Richard, Elliot and Collin, Peyton, Sydney, Madilyn, Kaylee, Allyson, Layla, Lyla and Lucy.

 

Services for Glenn will be Friday, June 14, 2013 at 10 am at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with burial in Sunset Memorial Park in Evansville with VFW Post #2714 and American Legion Post #194 conducting graveside honors.

 

Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
