Netah Diane Turpin, 76 of Princeton passed away Monday June 17, 2013 at The Waters of Princeton.

 

She was born Aug. 13, 1936 in Princeton to Haskell and Jewell (Nossett) Abell

 

Diane was a retired L.P.N. working at Gibson General Hospital for 38 years. She had lived in Princeton all of her life and was a member of the Friendship Christian Church in Baldwin Heights, Princeton.  She enjoyed her pets of which she had several. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and sewing.

 

She is survived by two sons, Joe (Tina) Gamble and family of Wadesville;  Jim (Rose) Turpin and family of Arkansas; three daughters, Netah Roberts and her loving pets and Audrey (Todd) Morrison and family of Princeton and Debbie Robinson and family of Evansville;  grandson, Jedidiah (Denise) Gamble and family of Raceland, Ky.; special daughters, Lana (Tim) Bates and family of Princeton and Mary (Jim) Munford of New Albany; brother, Joe Bob (Mary) Abell of Columbus, Ohio; and many other young and old family and friends too numerous to mention.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim Turpin, brother, Al Abell and nephew Mark Abell.

 

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Columbia “White” Church Cemetery at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013, with Pastor Fred Denton officiating.  Burial will follow the services.

 

There will be no public visitation. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
