Thelma Lucille Wood, 99, of Oakland City passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

She was born on April 11, 1914 in Vanderburgh County to Carl and Nancy Mae (Crilley) Wilhite.

She was preceded in death by husband Harold in 1940, son Larry Wood in 1998 and two great grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter Shirley (Bob) Lytle of Oakland City. Grandchildren Derrick (Sharon), Jay, Bryan Coleman and Shelly(Jeff) Meredith, Stacy and Greg (Lorie) Wood. Step-grandchildren Tonya Goerlitz, David, Jack and Joey (Jeanette) Lytle; 15 great -grandchildren seven step great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.

Services are Saturday June 15, 2013 2 p.m. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Darin D. Nossett officiating. Burial take place in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services on Saturday.
