Jeffrey R. Anderson, 57, formerly of Oakland City passed away on Thursday July 25, 2013.

Jeffrey was born on July 7, 1956 in Oakland City, IN to Paul and Betty Anderson.

He had lived in South Hadley, MA for 2 years, coming from Alabama. He was a truck driver for USA Truck. He graduated from Wood Memorial High School in 1974 and then graduated from Austin Peay University in Clarksville, TN.

He is survived by his parents, Paul and Betty Anderson of Buckskin; son, Chris Anderson of Brandon, FL; sister, Lisa (Jeff) Harpenau of Evansville; 2 brothers, Kevin (Pam) Anderson of Newburgh and Eric Anderson of Reed, KY; and 1 niece and 2 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Anderson and a stepdaughter, Alicia Hale.

Memorial Services will be held at 5 PM on Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. Johns Church of Buckskin, officiated by Rev. Jason Ford. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 4 PM until service time on Friday at the church. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home, Oakland City is in charge of arrangements.
