Rita M. Ivers, 79, of Stendal passed away on July 14, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville.

She was born (9 Aug 1933) in Monroe City to Leo and Margaret Tislow. 

Rita served her country in the U.S. Navy. 

As Rita Tislow, she married Donald Ivers, Sr. He preceded her in death in 1994.

Survivors include her children, Donald (Janice) Ivers, Jr., Patsy Ivers, Daryl (Laura) Ivers, and Roger (Stacey) Ivers; 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild on the way; brother, Jerry Tislow; and sisters, Jessie Wilson, Margie Gunter, Sandy Adams, and Peggy Miller.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at IOOF Cemetery in Hazelton. Sunset Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
