Donnie L. Bottoms 79, of Somerville, entered rest Monday, Aug. 5, 2013 at his home. He was born Jan. 9, 1934 in Francisco to Welza & Marie (Thompson)  Bottoms. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 41 years and was a fifty year member of Oakland City F&A.M. Lodge #467 and member of  Scottish Rite.

He was preceded in death by parents, sister Jean Miloncus and brother Bill Bottoms.

He is survived by wife of 58 years Sue ( Arendell) Bottoms. Sons Brad (Jill) Bottoms of Mackey, Randy (Chris) Bottoms of Vincennes. Sisters Phyllis Hunt of Somerville, Peg Johnson of Spurgeon. Grandchildren  Kayla, Tyler, Allison, Travis and Kiersten Bottoms

Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 10 a.m. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Somerville Cemetery. Rev.  Matt Malin will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the chapel and from 8 a.m. until services on Friday.
