Joshua Perry Dixon, 28, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013 as a result of a train-vehicle accident in Fort Branch.

He was born Nov. 14, 1984, in Evansville, the son of Franklin and Phyllis (Riley) Dixon.

He is survived by his parents, sister and brother-in-law, Kellie Jo (Dixon) and Ryan LaPadula; grandmothers Valada Mae Dixon and Chalis Olene Riley; best friend Brian Paulin ,whom Josh thought of as a brother and became the godfather to Brian’s son just a few days ago; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Josh was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Franklin Leo Dixon and Pete Riley.

Services will be held on Saturday Oct. 5, 2013 at 10: a.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Bob Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
