Doris Elizabeth (Morgan) Hamilton, 73 of Princeton, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 at Deaconess Hospice.

She was born March 23, 1940 in Sparta, Tenn.

She was a geriatric nurse for many years in Gibson County. She was a member of Princeton Holiness Tabernacle. She was a loving mother of five.

Survived by three daughters, Brenda Guess of Princeton, Susan Johnson of Vincennes and Grace Hamilton of Princeton; son, Robert Hamilton of Wadesville; two sisters, Margie (Morgan) Oakley of Anderson, and Jean (Morgan) Sturgeon of Princeton; brother, John Morgan of Sparta, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacy Hamilton and a brother, Lloyd Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2013 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Burial will follow at Twin Oaks Cemetery in Petersburg.

Visitation will be from noon until 3 p.m. Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
