Joyce L. Parke 84 of Oakland City, IN entered rest on Saturday Nov.30, 2013 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN. She was born on June 11, 1929 in Winslow In. to Herman & Hazel (Hopkins) Coleman.

She was preceded in death by husband Kenneth Parke in 2006.

Member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.

Surviving by sons; Gary (Diana) Parke of Somerville, In. Monty (Kenya) Parke of Oakland City, In. David Parke of Oakland City, In. Grandchildren; Eric Parke, Cathy Reising, Jaycee, Laramy, Darian Parke,Great Grandchildren; Sawyer and Cynthia Parke and Maverick Reising. Brother; Herschel Hurt of Decatur, IL

Joyce’s family wants to thank the Fifth floor staff of Gibson General Hospital for excellent care provided.

Services will be Tuesday 10:00 A.M. December 3, 2013 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church with Dr. Douglas Low officiating. Burial will take place in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M Monday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Tuesday at the Church.
