Walter “Ben” Eads, 24, of Francisco passed away on Monday January 13, 2014 at his home in Francisco. He was born on January 14, 1989 in Largo, Florida. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a former member of O.C. Eagles Erie #4288. He enjoyed motorcycle racing, snowboarding and playing guitar and he had a passion for Ford Mustangs. He also enjoyed his nephews and nieces and his dog Jazzey, who preceded him in death. 

He is survived by his mother, Joyce McKnight of Evansville; sisters, Maria McKnight of Evansville and Ivy Eads of Oakland City; godfather, Tim Peavler of Francisco; and several aunts and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Ray Eads on March 31, 2013. 

A carry in dinner will be held from 5 until 8 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Oakland City Eagles Lodge. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City is assisting family with arrangements.
