Lois Evelyn “Cox” Eastham 90 formerly of Oakland City entered rest on TuesdayFebruary 4, 2014 at Valley Nursing Home in Taylorsville, N.C.

She was born on April 5, 1923 in Gibson County, IN to James L. & Lizzie (Sowders) McLemore.

Lois was preceded in death by her Brother, Alvin McLemore and Daughter Deanna Cox Hayes; Husbands Jed Cox on Dec.4, 1983 and Charles Eastham on Jan. 18, 1992; and Sister Luella McCord.

Surviving are Grandchildren: Trent (Helon) Hayes of Hickory N. Carolina, Brent (Sharon) Hayes of Greensboro, N. Carolina, Brian Hayes of Hickory N. Carolina; (6) Great Grandchildren

Services will be 11:30 A.M.  Monday February 10, 2014 Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Rev. Dane Gray will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until services.
