Ruth Geneva Hall, 66, of Hazleton, Indiana passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at The Waters in Princeton.

She was born March 8, 1947 to Floyd and Laura (Price) Tharp.

Ruth was a beautician all her working lifetime and was owner/operator of The Carrousel. She was a graduate in 1965 from Mt. Olympus High School and was President of the Alumni Association of the Mt. Olympus Community Center. She was the treasurer of the Hazleton Fire Department and a member of the VFW Ladies Aux. 

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jesse Hall of Hazleton; son, Sam Hall of Gary, IN; brother, James Donel (Peggy) Tharp of Alta Vista, VA; sisters, Mary Case, Amelia Adams and Patty (Ed) Craig all of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Floyd Dean Tharp; and sister, Nancy Joann Dunning. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Mike Tarner officiating. Burial will be in Atkinson Chapel Cemetery in Oatsville.

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Monday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
