Thelma L. Froyd, 95, of Princeton passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at her home in Princeton.

She was born Sept. 7, 1918 in Tennessee to Everett and Clara (Grove) White.

Thelma was a homemaker and had lived in Princeton since 1963 moving here with her husband and family from Buffalo, NY. She had been a member of the P.E.O. Club, Tri-Kappa and the Garden Club. 

She is survived by two sons and their wives; Jeffrey (Joy) Froyd of College Station, Texas and Steve (Susan) Froyd of Kent, Wash. a brother; Everett White Jr. of Franklin, Ky., and three grandchildren—Meagan, Cara and Nathan Froyd, and four great grandchildren; Rebecca, Alexandra, Margaret and Caleb Froyd. In addition, her family would like to express their appreciation to a wonderful friend, Bob Shaw, for his care over the past several years as well as her caregivers: Diane Midkiff, Gloria Portee, Sandra Smith and Netta Wright. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lawrence Froyd in 1995 and five brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Jarmon Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbia White Church Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
