Donald Lee Miller, 82, of Oakland City, entered rest Friday, March 21, 2014 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

He was born Feb. 1, 1932 in Petersburg to Russell & Mayme (Hill).

 Don was an Army Veteran earned rank of Sgt. during the Korean Conflict.

He retired from Old Ben Coal 1 Mine and member of Local 5179.

He is survived by his wife of years 38 years Eula (Nixon) Miller, daughters; Judy Miller and Becky Bruner of Vincennes, step-daughter Teresa (Wallace) Williams of Oakland City, grandchild Jeremy Bruner of Vincennes, step-grandchildren: Christopher Williams of Princeton and Mary Elizabeth Clark of Columbus, sister Dorothy Kinman of Petersburg, brother Charles Miller of Petersburg. 

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Montgomery Cemetery. Rev. Darin D. Nossett will be officiating. Family and Friends will gather at Cemetery for services. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is assisting family.
