Charles A. Campbell, 89, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Transcendent Health Care of Owensville.

He was born October 22, 1924 in Owensville the son of Louis D. and Laura (Garrett) Campbell.

Charlie was a graduate of Owensville High School class of 1942 served his country in the United States Army and retired from Whirlpool Corporation after 41 years. He was a member of the Masonic Prince Lodge 231 and the VFW Post 2714.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Betty (Roberts) Campbell; daughter, Donna (Tom) Foster; son, Scott (Yuganda) Campbell; 5 grandchildren, Stacey, Eric (Krystal) Campbell, Amanda (Kelby) Graham, Joe and Jill Foster; four great-grandchildren, Olivia and Charlie Graham, Brayden and Laithen Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and five brothers, Ruel, Merrell, Virgil, Raymond and Willard.

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Kevin Miley officiating. Burial will be in the Maumee Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the American Legion Post 51 and VFW Post 2714.

Visitation will held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday April 22, at Holders Funeral Home.
