Herman O. Schatz, 68, of Princeton passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at The Waters in Princeton.

He was born on February 14, 1946 in Evansville to Herman and Dorothy (Riley) Schatz, Sr.

He worked for Mid-State Rubber as a fork truck driver for 31 years. 

He is survived by his children: Patty Morrison, Frieda Mason, Jamie Dillon all of Princeton and Herman Schatz III of Francisco; brother Jerry Tucker; sisters Pauletta Blanton, Tina Greentree and Donna Schatz; 6 grandchildren: Tyler and Aaron Morrison, Alexis Strickland, Colton Dawson, Terran Dillon and Bryson Schatz; 3 great grandchildren Noah, Lily & Sophia Morrison. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley (Pugh) Schatz in 1996, his parents, an infant brother Darryl, and sisters Patricia Montgomery & Phyllis Dill, grandchildren Brenna & Brayden Schatz. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Larry Meadows. Burial will be at Owensville Cemetery in Owensville.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
