Billy E. Sutton, 78, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday May 7, 2014 at his home.

He was born on September 10, 1935 in Knox County to Robert and Rubie (Barmes) Sutton.

He was a carpenter out of the Vincennes Union Hall. Later in his life he worked for WRAY Radio, performing various maintenance jobs, including their lovely manicured lawns. Billy enjoyed IU basketball, Cardinal baseball, and all of his grandchildren’s sporting events

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Juanita (Iglehart) Sutton; a daughter Judy (Bernie) Kroeger of Princeton; three grandchildren, Shawn Frederick, Chad (Holley) Frederick and Veronica Kroeger; two great-grandsons Kyle and Kaden Frederick; three sisters Emma Hartzburg of Oaktown, Betty Williams and Margaret Vieke both of Vincennes; and brother-in-law Wes Stafford also of Vincennes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Herb Sutton, two brothers-in-law Jack Hartzburg and Chuck Williams.  

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Jarmon Perkins. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 3 until service time Monday.
