Buddy M. Lee, 64, of Winslow, IN passed away on
Sunday June 15, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Buddy was born on November 18, 1949 in Sullivan, IN
to Charles and Vera (Gabbart) Lee.
He worked at Wood C. Smith Chevrolet in Oakland
City, then at Kenny Kent Chevrolet in Evansville and finally as an Auto
Mechanic Teacher at Pike Central High School. He won many State Contests with
his students at Pike Central, which provided the students with scholarships to
further their education. He retired from teaching in 2014. He loved his family
and especially his grandchildren. He had the ability to make people smile and
his family and friends will miss his wit. He was a Master Mason at Oakland City
Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Janell Lee of Winslow; parents, Charles
”Bud” and Vera Lee of Oakland City; 3 children, Jennifer (Glenn) Siek of Indianapolis, Billy Lee of Winslow and Jason Lee of
Monrovia, In; step daughter, Cara Burgess of Rogers, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren,
Jake, Cooper, Ava, Colin and Parker; 3 step grandchildren, Brooke, Ashlyn and Cassi; and 2 sisters, Rogena
(Roger) Hunt and Suzie (Herbert) Alexander.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Marlena Stein.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon (CDT) on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at
Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, officiated by Leann Kelly. Burial
will be at the New Liberty Cemetery in Coe, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Wednesday
and from 8 AM until service time on Thursday at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home. There
will be a Masonic Service at 7 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
