Steven A. Montgomery, 65, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.

He was born in Evansville on January 25, 1949.

Steve was a graduate of Owensville High School class of 1967. He was an Iron Worker for 17 years and Maintenance Supervisor at Hansen Corporation for 26 years. He loved his cats, rock gardens, hot cars, boats and most recently his trike.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvid and Mary Alice (Plass) Montogomery; infant brother, Douglas and grandson, Joshua Anthony Manning.

Surviving is his wife, Nancy (White) Montgomery; children, Chris Montgomery (Monica), Josh Manning (Cyrilla) and Jessica Norton (Dave); 5 grandchildren, Killian and McKenzie Manning, Laryssa Norton, Cohan Overfield and Savannah Goedde; mother and father-in-law, Roy and Martha White; sister Sybil (Bill) Davis.

Service will be on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Rev. William Ping officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 17, from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from noon until the service time at the funeral home.
