Neveda F. Kidwell, 93, of Oakland City, entered rest Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

She was born Feb. 2, 1921 in Princeton to Maurice and Leola Myrle (Ebright) Maxam.

She was preceded in death by parents; son, Jan Robert Kidwell; a daughter, Darlene Kelly and sister Nordeka McQueen. Nevada was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Oakland City.

She was retired from Potter-Brumfield in Princeton, after 40 years of service.

She is survived by a son, Maurice (Karen) Kidwell of White Oak, Texas; daughter-in-law, Judy Culver-Kidwell of Salisbury, Maryland; brother, Jerry (Marilyn) Maxam of Haubstadt; grandchildren, Nedra Cadle, John, Allan and Lanny Ott, Jed and Jay Kidwell, Julie Schuck, Jeff, Rex and Jason Culver, Julie Pitassi, Shellia Cochran, Jaclyn Coomer and Emily Ramey. Several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Nephew, Kevin Maxam; niece, Norka Davis.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with Rev Larry Stoops officiating with burial in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until services Saturday at the Chapel.
