Dorothy Marie Youngson, 83, of Princeton, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

She was born January 12, 1931 in Fort Branch, Indiana to the late Lawrence and Pauline (Hisker) Neufelder.

She was a homemaker and had lived in Princeton for many years, having formerly lived in Fort Branch and Haubstadt. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton. 

Dorothy is survived by her three children, Linda (Steve) Miller of Oakland City, Pam (Ted) Bishop of Princeton and Jim (Voneda) Youngson of Princeton; six grandchildren, Colt (Jaime) Miller, Cohn Miller, Cody Miller, Michael Vickers, Seth Youngson and Noah Youngson; a great granddaughter, Emmalyn Miller; five sisters, Mary Martha Salas, Norma Wild, Betty Wade, Anne Williams and Barbara Elpers; two brothers, Gene and Larry Neufelder

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Youngson in 1992; four brothers, Charles, Harold, Father Jerome “Jerry” and Gerald Neufelder

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 South Race Street in Princeton, with Father Ronald Zgunda the celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. A prayer service will be held at 2:45 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
