Bert E. Sullivan, 88 of Princeton passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City.

He was born August 24, 1926, in Princeton to Reason H. "Joe" and Esther Lulu (McGarrah) Sullivan. 

He retired from RCA Electronics as a troubleshooter in Bloomington where he worked for over 30 years. He was a W.W.II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He had lived in Princeton most of his life commuting to Bloomington to work during the week. 

He was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local for over 60 years. He was also a member of Prince Masonic Lodge #231 in Princeton and V.F.W. 

He is survived by a sister-in-law, Gloria R. Sullivan of Evansville; 3 nieces, Cherie Sturges (Steven) of Evansville, Melody Lantz (Roger) of Wadesville and Holly Murrell (Alan Willitzer) of Indianapolis; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, William F. Sullivan and half-brother, Robert Sullivan. 

Military services will be held at the graveside 11 a.m. Wednesday November 26, 2014 at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton conducted by Retired Military Veterans. Burial will follow the services.

There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is in charge of arrangements.
