Russell H. Crawford, 81 of Princeton passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at his home.

He was born Dec, 3, 1933 in Lizton, IN to William and Gladys Irene (Russell) Crawford. 

He had lived in Princeton since 1978 moving here from Madison, IN. He was a retired manager of the former Danner’s 3D Department Store in Princeton. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a former member of the American Legion. 

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Edith Crawford of Princeton; 2 sons, Kenneth (Cathy) Crawford of Somerset, NJ and Kevin (Connie) Crawford of Orlando, FL; 6 grandchildren, Russell (Tayra), Ashley, Kyle, Conner, Meagan and Alyssa Crawford; 2 great grandchildren, Russell and Savannah Crawford; 2 brothers, Don Crawford of Tennessee and Gene Crawford of Connersville; and a sister, Shirley Grounds of Clayton. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Kay Summan. 

Funeral services will be 2 pm on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. William Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbia "White Church" Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 until 2 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
