Marjorie E. Witherspoon age 89, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at the Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

She was born June 21, 1925, in English to Harley and Anna Mae (Miller) Dearing, both of which have preceded.

On April 12, 1946, in Princeton, she was married to Robert “Bob” Witherspoon who precedes her in death.

Marjorie was a homemaker and a longtime member of the Hillside United Methodist Church of Princeton.

She is survived by two sons; David Witherspoon of Evansville, and Byron Witherspoon of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and two sisters; Marion (James) Slade of Seymour and Mae Dean (John) Wright of Princeton.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 at Doyle Funeral Home, located at 520 S. Main St. Princeton, IN 47670, with Pastor Chris Neikirk Officiating.  Internment will take place in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will also be on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 from noon until time of service at 1 p.m.
