Owensville, IN David Roscoe Dike, 74, passed away Wed. Jan. 21, 2015 at his residence.

He was born April 3, 1940 in Owensville son of Edgar and Hazel (Anderson) Dike.

Dave was a farmer and retired from Hoover Universal. He loved working in his garden and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Brenda Sue (Brown); children, Dana (Pat) Johnson, Scott (Lana) Dike; 6 grandchildren, Krista (Justin) Bell, Kory (Holly) Lary, Nicole (Todd) Ricketts, Tiffany Richards, Tanner Dike, Kolby Lary; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob (Millie), Fred (Ruth), Denny and Mark Dike; sisters, Betty Reed, Brenda Gail Dike; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in the death by his parents, brothers, Norman Ray and Paul Dike, sister, Rita Wilkerson.

Services will be held on Sat. Jan. 24, at 10:00 a.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with his grandson, Kory Lary officiating. Honoring Dave's wishes he will be cremated following his services.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
