Jack Tracer 98, formerly of Gibson County, passed away Tuesday January 27, 2015 at the Bell Oaks Terrace in Newburgh.

He was born in Princeton, May 27, 1916. 

Jack graduated from Princeton High School in 1935. He was retired from Public Service Indiana as a lineman foreman in May of 1978 where he worked for 37 years. He was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 16 in Evansville. He was a W.W. II veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He had lived in Newburgh for the past 6 years, having also lived in Oakland City and Princeton.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Vivian Pearl (Westfall) Tracer on Aug. 10, 2003. 

He is survived by a cousin, Jack Summers of Cornalia, GA and caregivers, Dick and Carol Kabrick of Newburgh. 

Funeral services will be held at the graveside, 11 a.m. Saturday Jan. 31, 2015 in the Columbia “White Church” Cemetery in Princeton, with Dr. Douglas Low officiating. Burial will follow the services.

There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling the arrangements.
