Marcia O. Almon, 87, passed away Wednesday, Feb 4, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital.

She was born June 17, 1927 in Gibson County daughter of Marion and Inez (Grubb) Reed.

She was a graduate of Owensville High School class of 1945, also a member of Maumee General Baptist Church. Marcia is survived by her son, Richard (Sheron); grandchildren, Markie (Regina) Loftin, Jeremy (Miranda) Almon, Justin (Danielle) Curtis, Amy Loftin, Leif (Melissa) and Casey (Katie) Almon; 2 great-grandchildren, Jaycee and Madelyn Almon; nephews, Phillip Ellington and Benny Campbell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert; daughters, Sherry McGill and Janie Peach; siblings, Delores Whitener, Bob and Jack Reed.

Memorial graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb 9 at Maumee Cemetery with Kevin Miley officiating.
