Frieda M. Pauley, 80, of Mt. Olympus, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.

She was born January 13, 1935 to Roy and Millie (Beasley) McDevitt. She was a member of the Mt. Olive Church in Mt. Olympus.

She was a beautician and owned her own shop. Frieda also formerly worked at Potter & Brumfield, was a seamstress at the Model, a school bus driver, 4-H leader for 22 years and was on the Board of Directors for 26 years at the Knox County REMC. 

She is survived by her 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy (Tim) Engler of Princeton, Kim (Brett) Duncan of Princeton and Cindy (Ron) Whaley of Hazleton; grandchildren, Tally (Brian) Collins, Kasey Duncan, Brittany Duncan, Tommy Whaley and Jamee Whaley; 5 sisters, Marie Burns of Francisco, Nancy McDevitt of Sellersburg, Kathern Stiles of Princeton, Sue Broadus of Lexington, IN and Jan (Marvin) Stoner of New Washington, IN; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas “Tom” Pauley in July of 2014 and a sister, Agnes Burgin. 

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Kevin Stiles officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus, IN.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
