David J. Becker, 66, passed away at his home surrounded by family on Monday March 23, 2015.

He was born to the late Verner T. and Mary Frances (Snyder) Becker in Evansville, IN on September 20,1948.

David was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN and the American Legion in Elberfeld post #351. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked at Whirlpool Corporation for 42 years before retiring.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Peggy (Nuebling) Becker and son Joseph Becker, grandson Brandon Michael Becker all of Fort Branch, IN, sisters Marilyn Becker of St. Meinrad, IN, Rosemary Klump of Boonville, IN, and Kathy Diebold of Angels Camp, CA, and brother Michael Becker of Boonville, IN.

Visitation for David will be on Friday March 27, 2015 at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch at 11:00 AM with Father Tony Ernst and Father Bhastati Sudhakar as co-celebrants, visitation from 9:00 AM until service time, with burial at St. Paul United Church of Christ Cemetery in Fort Branch. Military services will be conducted by the Elberfeld American Legion post #351 at the graveside.
