Bonnie Ruth Janes, 85, of Princeton, Indiana, born to Guy C. and Carrie (Tremper) Jessie on May 26, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at The Waters of Princeton in Princeton, Indiana.

She enjoyed playing Scrabble.

Surviving are her husband: William “Bill” Janes of Princeton, Indiana; son: Gerald (Linda) Spore of Princeton, Indiana; 2 daughters: Terri Harbage of Grove City, Ohio and Carol (Clarence “Sonny”) Downey of Marengo, Ohio; 4 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother: Ronald Jessie of Wadesville, Indiana; 2 sisters: Glenda Krueger and Mary Jane Overton both of Greenwood, Indiana.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother: Marvin Guy Jessie and sisters: Carolyn Jo Boyle and Norma Fay Johns.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Griffin, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday, March 25, 2015, at the funeral home.
