Beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend Kathy Jo Masterson Massey of Patagonia, Arizona passed away on April 25, 2015. 

She was born November 23, 1953, in Evansville, Indiana, to Nellie Jo and Berlin Masterson.

The second of eight children, Kathy was raised in Princeton, Indiana, graduating from Princeton Community High School in 1971.

She fell in love with and married Tony Massey. They both loved the desert and moved to Tucson, Arizona, in the mid-70s where they raised three beautiful children. Kathy was a free spirit who was kind and witty. 

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Tony. 

Left behind to cherish her memory are her parents, daughters Amanda (Todd) Conway and Jennifer Massey, son David Massey, stepson Mark Blanton; six granddaughters Aine, Aoife, Amaia, Diaz, Nydia, and Eden; three step-grandchildren; seven siblings Karen Collins, Patrick (Rebecca) Masterson, Curtis Masterson, Connie (Jon) Fowler, David (Faye) Masterson, Michael (Amy) Masterson, and Christy Mullen; companion Harry Hower; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial will be held in Patagonia this week, and a private service of remembrance will be held in Evansville this summer.
