Timothy J. McEllhiney, 71, of Smithville passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

He was born on May 13, 1943 at Gibson General Hospital to Daniel & Mildred (Fuller) McEllhiney.

He was employed at Emge Packing Company for 25 years. He was a United States Army Veteran. He loved his family more than life itself. 

He is survived by 2 daughters: Misty McEllhiney of Princeton and Kandi (Mark) Brucken of Evansville; sister Dannielle Rutka, Princeton; brother Charley (Lynne) McEllhiney, Vincennes; 2 grandchildren Lexie McEllhiney & Brandon Brucken; 2 nieces & 1 nephew and all his little buddy’s on the river. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Diana Patrick. 

A heart of gold stopped beating, two shinning eyes at rest. God broke our hearts to prove, he only takes the best. 

Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with serving the family. Services will be private. The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Hospital and hospice for their care.
