Jewell M. Davis, 91, passed away Wed. May 20, 2015 at Good Samaritan Home in Evansville.

She was born in Gibson County, IN on Oct. 6, 1923 to Babel and Mildred (Williams) McClellan.

Jewell was a homemaker, retired from Target and had worked at VNA Plus. Survivors include children, Donna (Butch) Gibson, Karen (Bob) Gibson and Chuck (Tammy) Davis; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Lillian Fathery, Dora Owens and Nathalie Hinderliter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles D. Davis; daughters, Brenda Davis and Darla Broshears; infant sons, David and Stanley; sister, Louise Wilhite.

Services will be Sat. May 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Pastor Delbert Bryant officiating. Burial will be in the Maumee Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at the funeral home.
