Sara E. Heaton, 73, of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at her home in Princeton.

She was born November 9, 1941 in Linton, IN to Wayne and Irene Hannum.

She retired from the office of Dr. Decker/Dr. Flaningam. Sara graduated from Worthington Jefferson High School in Worthington, IN. She was a member of Tri-Kappa. She suffered from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (A.L.S.). 

She is survived by her daughters, Holly (Scott) Patterson and April (Tom) Graper; 4 grandchildren, Kyle (Kelli) Davis, Wyatt Davis, Paige Patterson and Gavin Graper; 1 sister, Judy Bender; sister-in-law, Brenda Hicks; and her mother-in-law, Wilma Heaton. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William “Bill” Heaton on December 12, 2014. 

Memorial Service will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. John Heumann officiating. Visitation will be from 4 until 6 PM on Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
