Charles “Eugene” Willis, 88, of Princeton passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at The Waters in Princeton.

He was born on May 28, 1927 in Princeton, IN to Charles and Opal (Perry) Willis.

He was a United States Navy Veteran. Eugene and his wife “Lacigale” owned and operated Pizza Village in Princeton for 19 years. He lived all his life in Princeton. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. 

He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Tim) Farmer of Princeton; his grandson, Austin Farmer; several nieces and one nephew. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary “Lacigale” Willis on October 26, 2014; brother, Jim Willis; and his twin sister, Betty Bender. 

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton and continue at Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Military graveside services will be conducted by retired military veterans.
