Patsy A. Burns, 82 of Princeton, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

She was born in Oakland City, January 3, 1933 to Arcillian and Helen (Blacketer) Skelton. 

Patsy had lived in Princeton most of her life. She was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping and being with her friends. She was a graduate of Princeton High School Class of 1951. 

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen (Brian) Modifari of Princeton; 3 grandchildren, Natalie Birrell of O’Fallon, IL, Norene (Matthew) Campbell of Princeton, Erica Edrington of Princeton; 3 great grandchildren, Keira, Jenna and Max; and special friend Bill Smith. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Doyle Burns in 2001 and brother Marvin Meuser in 2014. 

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday December 30, 2015 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery, rural Francisco.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
