Douglas S. Cowan, 73, of Princeton passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016.

He was born on March 6, 1942 in Chicago, IL.

He was a member of Bethel Memorial Church in Princeton and was a US Marine Corp Veteran.  He loved his dog Vato.

He is survived by his wife, Elva of Princeton; father, William Cowan, NC; 2 sons:  True M. & Ian Cowan, CA; 1 brother Greg Cowan, NC.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Cowan and a granddaughter.

No Services will be held.   The family has entrusted Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with arrangements.
