Sheila Rae Overton, 68, of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, born to Charles and Juanita (Willis) Simpson on May 8, 1947, in Bicknell, Indiana, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

She worked at Beltone in Evansville, Indiana and was a member of the Sunbeam Chapter No. 1 Order of Eastern Star of Mt. Vernon, Indiana.

Surviving are her husband: Kenneth E. Overton; 4 daughters: Lisa (James) Embrey of Jasonville, Indiana, Annette McCammon of Shelburn, Indiana, Laryssa (Nate) Boesen of Madison, Wisconsin and Cally Jo (Sam) Miller of Bicknell, Indiana; 2 sons: Robin (Colleen) Overton of Sullivan, Indiana and Scott Overton of Newburgh, Indiana; 2 sisters: Iris Flater of Jasonville, Indiana and Randy Greene of Jacksonville, Florida; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother: Ronnie Simpson.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2016, at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville, Indiana with burial in Saulmon Cemetery near Poseyville, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 12(Noon) to 4 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2016, at the funeral home with an Eastern Star Service at 4 p.m.
