John Wesley Angle, Sr., 71, passed away at his home in Francisco, IN on April 20, 2016.

He was born on November 14, 1944 in Evansville, IN to the late Alvis Rex Sr. and Sadie (Dill) Angle.

He was a member of the Gospel Ministry Church in Francisco and a member of the Francisco Lions Club. He retired from the East Gibson School Corporation after many years as a custodian.

Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his siblings Joann Wiginall, Eva Loyd, and Alvis (Bunk) Angle, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary (Miskell) Angle of Francisco, IN, children Cindy Angle of Francisco, IN, John (Beth) Angle, Jr. of Haubstadt, IN, Chris Angle of Evansville, IN, grandchildren Kyle and Megan Angle of Haubstadt, IN, Brady and Brandon Angle of Evansville, IN, sister Betty Corniel of Big Sandy, TN, brother Bill (Dee) Angle of Oakhurst, CA, sister-in-law Sandy Angle of Fort Branch, IN and several nieces and nephews.

Services for John will be on Monday April 25, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Stodghill Funeral Home located on highway 168 in Fort Branch, IN officiated by Pastor Robert McDonald. Burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton, IN will follow.

Visitation will be on Sunday April 24, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Stodghill Funeral Home.
