Stephen George Dayvolt age 56, of Francisco, IN, passed away, surrounded by his family, on Friday, April 22, 2016 at his home.

Stephen was born on December 26, 1959 in Fayetteville N.C. to Clarence & Maria (Mueller) Dayvolt.

After graduating high school, Stephen attended Wabash Valley College continuing his education at Vincennes University. He worked as a mechanic for HT Enterprises for many years. He also loved raising exotic birds. Stephen was an area resident since 1971 and attended the Francisco General Baptist Church

Stephen is survived by his mother, Maria Dayvolt of Francisco, IN and brother, Chris Dayvolt (Maggie Mosley) of Sugar Grove, IL. Also surviving are sisters; Terry (Earl) Thorne of Maple Park, IL and Gitta Senko of Everett, WA. Other survivors include nieces; Lisa (Steve) Johnson of Maple Park, IL, Sherry (Danny) Flint of Genoa,IL, Theresa (Bryan) Miller also of Maple Park, IL and nephew, Alex Senko of Everett,WA as well as other numerous great nieces and nephews.

Stephen is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Dayvolt.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Francisco General Baptist Church located at 102 E. Main St. Francisco, IN 47649 with Pastor Kathryn Webb officiating with cremation to follow.

Visitation will be on Monday April 25, 2016 from 3:00 until time of service at 7:00 P.M. at the church.
