Jerry A. Lance 78 of Oakland City entered rest on Friday April 1,2016 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.

He was born on June 27,1937 in Washington to Delmas & Mildd (Richerick) Lance.

Jerry was employed at Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville for years. He also
was a member of Oakland City Fraternal Order of Eagles # 4288.

Jerry, was preceded in death by his Parents, wife Bonnie Lou Lance in 2013, Son
Robert Lance in 2015 a Brother John Lance and Grandson Nathan Lance in 2015.

He is survived by son: John Michael “Mike” Lance of Oakland City, IN; His Step Mother: Artie Lance of Oakland City, IN; Companion and special friend: Darlene Ricketts of Lynnville, IN; Grandchildren: Chad Lance (Katelyn), Heather(Shane) Stewart, Kelsey Allen Erin, Cody, Kayla and Breezy Lance and Jeri-Lynn Jones.

Services will be 8:00 P.M Tuesday April 5, 2016 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rick Lance will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until services on Tuesday
