Larry R.
Loveless, 68 of rural Petersburg passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Jasper
Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN.
He was born
October 30, 1947 in Pike County to Harold and Lillian (Payne) Loveless, who
preceded him in death.
Larry had lived
in rural Petersburg all of his life. He graduated from Petersburg High School
in 1966 and retired as a truck driver for Propane One in Oakland City. He was a
veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army and was an avid deer
hunter.
He is survived
by his wife Frances (Kennard) Loveless; 2 daughters, Kathy (Ora) Wilson of
Winslow and Roxanna (Anthony) Brandon, Missouri; granddaughter, Stephanie Offill of Montgomery; sister, Barbara Rainey of North
Vernon and brother Charles Loveless of Petersburg.
Funeral services
will be 2 p.m. (CDT) Sunday May 8, 2016 at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in
Oakland City, with Pastor Keith Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the
Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Oatsville with military
rites.
Visitation will
be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
