Bonnie Gayle Strickland Lundeen 68 of Oakland City entered her eternal home on Thursday evening at her winter home in Zephyrhills, Florida.

She was born on September 7, 1947 to Earl & Ethel Strickland of Mackey, Indiana.

She has lived in Mackey, Indiana (her hometown) since 2005 with her husband Phillip Lundeen. Prior to that they lived in Sarasota and Clearwater, Florida since they were married in June 1989. Prior to her marriage to Phil, she lived in Evansville, Mackey and Jasper, IN and Sarasota, FL.

Her hobbies included: reading, gardening, studying the Bible, sewing and quilting.
She was a member of the Oakland City Church of The Nazarene. She was a Prayer Warrior and a member of the “Loving Hearts” Sunday School class. She also was a member of the Southern Indiana Holiness Association.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Ahlemann Strickland, her father, Earl C. Strickland both of Mackey, Indiana; 4 brothers, Larry Strickland of Oakland City IN, Lloyd Strickland, Dennis Strickland & Norman “Cork “Strickland of Mackey IN; 2 sisters, Norma Miller of Chambersburg PA and Vonda Miles of Mooresville, IN.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip Lundeen of Mackey, IN & Zephyrhills, FL; 2 children, a son Greg Fuhrman of Covington, GA and a daughter, Cindy Summerville of Bradenton, FL; 4 sisters, Ruth Ringham of Lynnville, IN, Joyce Parke of Raymore, MO, Connie Barr of Mackey, IN and Marilyn Sellards of Poseyville, IN; 2 brothers, Donald Strickland of Mackey, IN and Robert Strickland of Somerville, IN.  Grandchildren: Jordan & Erica Fuhrman, Step-Grandchildren: Jennifer Harper, Steven (Anita) & Jason (Lori) Lauderdale, Step-Great-Grandsons: Lucas, Aiden, Preston, Conner, Austin, Tristan, Brendan & Ashyr

Services will be Friday May 20,2016 11:00 A.M. at Oakland City Church of The Nazarene with Rev. Darin D. Nossett officiating. Burial will take place in Townsley Cemetery in Mackey, IN.

Visitation will be from 4:00 -8:00 P.M. Thursday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 9:00 A.M. Friday at the Church.
